She never tells him about his kid She never tells her husband she is doing this Brooks letters stop and she assumes he has been killed in action as he was in the Army stationed in Afghanistan She comes clean to her husband about her pen pal habits and he helps her through Brooks death She even goes so far at this point to promise Bobby she is over Brooks and in love with him and she wants to start trying for a baby with him Brooks comes back from Afghanistan to finally be with her only to see her with Bobby and a toddler He assumes she has moved on and realizes she lied in her letters about still loving him.

I should always trust my spidey sense I m not going to put down this authors work or deter anyone from reading it I am just going to put my honest thoughts out there because it s what I would want someone to do for me if I was reading their review This book had many highs and lows For the first part of the book I was hooked There was a triangle of delicious twins wanting the same girl This girl loved them both and then she made a series of wrong decisions This is when the book headed south for me I am not a fan of cheating or triangles or white lies or lies by omission and I hate double dipping and then triple dip In one book Oh hell no If these things are not your cuppa Steer clear But I took the risk because it was very clear early on which brother she should be with and which brother was shining brighter The author definitely wrote his character beautifully and flawless Now her character Not so much She made bad decision after bad decision and then bad decisions It was literary whiplash You will get angles where you will be like WTF is happening and then angels where you ll be ready to launch your kindle I was at various stages in the book where I was ready to DNF This was as far in as 80% I just did not care any So why invest the time into this whopper of a book to not see the end through So I pushed on I needed closure in some situations which thankfully I received and then luckily every dog in this book had it s day.

Love's suicidepreventie I honestly have to say that Katy pissed me the hell off Between making all the wrong choices her whining and always putting her problems first without the consideration of how her actions would affect others just rubbed me the wrong way All of the drama that surrounded Katy was made by her own hand but then she had the audacity to cry and whine about it. Love's suicidemouse.avi It was Brooks that saved the book for me The love that he had for Katy was beautiful and how many times did this boy constantly forgive her for past transgressions How many times could this man be rejected wanted rejected wanted etc etc I will tell you though even with Katy getting me angry I still had to turn the page to see what was going to happen next My curiosity had me walking around with my phone in hand and head buried in the book waiting for Katy to redeem herself. But it worked well for this story Jenn truly knows how to pull out every emotion a person has while reading a book I laughed I cried I swooned I blushed I got pissed and I fell in love The characters are so well developed that you truly feel like you are a part of their world Now normally I like a book to be told in dual POV but this one worked so much better coming from Katy s POV Throughout this whole story I kept wondering how this book was going to turn out to have a HEA because there were so many things that kept standing in Katy s way but have no fear Jenn Foor did it The way this story was wrapped up and concluded was amazing What is revealed in the end was quite a shocker that I didn t see it coming but I loved it and it totally summed everything thing up. Love's suicider en The main characters of this book are Katy Branch and Brooks They have grown up together being neighbors and all 3 kids were close As time moved on Katy was forced to choose which brother she wanted to be with this choice would change her life I am not going to tell you who she chose you will need to read the book But just because she did make a choice things aren t always what they seem I liked Katy she wasn t an annoying indecisive person She went through something very tragic as a child but she was still a strong person All the decisions Katy made in this book she felt were for the best for everyone involved There was one decision I thought she was dumb to make I realize she felt she had no other choice because she was alone but I really wish she would ve just stayed true to her feelings As for Branch and Brooks. Love's suicideyear They are identical twins but couldn t be any different when it came to their personalities I will say that I really didn t like Branch from the beginning it wasn t until the end that I started to warm up to him We find out some shocking things about Branch along the way Now as for Brooks. Love's suicidemouse avi The connection between Katy and Brooks and Katy and Branch is undeniable Although she loves Branch 1 Librarian s Note This is an alternate new cover for ASIN B00IODNJRG My heart belonged to Branch and Brooks Valentine since we were children when we were all too na ve to know what that even meant We didn t understand that when we became adults love would change us I had to make a choice and when I did it ripped our bond apart Brooks left town and he took half of my heart with him It was difficult but I coped and planned my future with Branch I thought I d made the right decision I loved him and I always had Brooks showed up to be our best man the night before our nuptials After drinks and too much reminiscing I ended up in bed with the wrong brother To avoid the humiliation and the fact that I d ruined all of our lives I left Branch and the only family I d ever known That s where my story should have ended Two years one beautiful little girl and an abusive marriage later I was standing there staring at the man that would always hold my heart The only question was Would I give it to him I m Katy Michaels and this is my story Love s Suicide Love s Suicide 1 When I rate a book highly 4 5 stars I don t always feel the need to review it at length or give reasons When I review a book poorly under 4 and I can pinpoint or explain what didn t work for me I try to do it I saw this book on and then researched it here It was hailed as wonderful with all the five star reviews Even though I noticed a large number of those were Beta and ARC readers I decided I liked the love triangle premise At 25% I was ready to text my fellow book club members to get on this book It was an interesting premise it flowed well with interesting characters and emotions The author did a FAB job pacing the book and growing relationships of the three principles through junior high high school and college The turning point for me was when Katy moved to SC Spoiler Alert But I don t think you will mind this book being spoiled. Love's suicidemouse.avi Katy fled the twin brothers Brooks and Branch she was in love with and met Bobby in small town America Bobby was a true friend to her and helped her through her heart break over the twins He was patient and caring for her through her pregnancy from another man even willingly marrying her so she could get added to his health insurance He admitted his love for her and she was honest with him that she cared but wasn t in love with him Bobby did become abusive on a couple occasions and they separated He entered counseling and still helped her treating her child as his own When he was injured she moved him back in to help him out and they reconciled All the while Katy was still harboring emotions for another She was so incredibly wishy washy I started to hate her Long story short she reaches back out to her true love and baby daddy Brooks through letters She never tells him she is married to another so he walks away She receives a delayed letter from Brooks in the mail that tells her he was only injured and shipping back to the states to a base very close to where she is doing this in the hopes that they can reconcile Katy immediately goes to see him at the base throwing herself at him and admitting she kept his kid from him Brooks starts a relationship with his daughter that Bobby fully supports even though it pains him to think of losing the child he accepted and treated as his own Bobby is heartbroken but leaves Katy and tells her to think about what she wants If she is still in love with Brooks as much as it would kill him she should then be with him Katy calls Bobby begging him to come home professing her love for him alone Stupid Bobby goes back Her first time chaperoning a visitation between Brooks and their child ends with her kissing him and telling him he is the only one she ever loved with poor Bobby waiting for his family at home alone After overhearing Katy professing her feelings to Brooks Bobby smacks her around a couple times and she has him arrested What This may be the only time I have ever cheered on a man hitting a woman She was jerking him around so badly yet we are supposed to feel bad for her I wanted to beat her ass for the head job she was doing on Bobby. Love's suicidemouse.avi Now after this Brooks saves the day whisking her and their baby away The author really needs to clean this story up so she turns Bobby who before was willing to let Katy go be with Brooks into a crazed stalker He attempts to kidnap Katy and after a car accident he dies She feels responsible and is sulking Again This book had so much potential but about a third of the way through I wanted to choke Katy The book also became heavy with inner musings and monologues I don t think I have ever experienced a immature and selfish character as Katy Michaels I awarded this book two stars instead of one giving the author credit for the first quarter of the book Avoid this book don t believe the hype Love s Suicide Love s Suicide 1 2. Love's suicidepreventie Crying sobbing soaked in tears I cried I sobbed I cried again Oh where to start The story Ok well it had promise the blurb was interesting and although I hate love triangles I was prepared to like this because it didn t seem like your typical love triangle scenario at all The story centered around Katy and started off with her at age 12 She had always lived next door to identical twin boys Brooks and Branch Branch Seriously WTF kind of name is that She has a massive crush on Brooks He s the romantic and kinder of the two. Love's suicidepreventiecentrum The twin s parents who were life long friends of Katy s parents become Katy s guardian The story then skips 6 years and we have Katy visiting her parent s grave on the anniversary of their death and she is with Branch with whom she is now in a serious relationship. Love's suicider Whooaaa Did I say Branch Yep That s right It seems that Brooks didn t come forward with his feelings for Katy so she decides if she cant have him she will have the next best thing his identical twin Hmmm Not really fair on anyone that I would say And here we have the very first example of Katy and her ingrained stupidness She is angry when Brooks shows interest in other girls and yet she flaunts her relationship with Branch in front of him all the time. Love's suicidemouse A year later and Katy and Branch are living together and engaged to be married but whilst on a visit to Branch s parents she discovers a letter from Brooks addressed to her that he wrote on the off chance she and only she would find it and read it She does. Love's suicidemouse.avi Seriously it defies any logic of any kind This next bit is or less in the blurb so I m not really spoiling anything putting it in here without a spoiler tag Branch shows his true colours towards Katy when he gets drunk Katy and Brooks finally tell each other how they feel Katy and Brooks have sex and lots of it In the morning they again profess their undying love for each other Katy then tells Brooks she is going to get some stuff from her apartment but actually gets in her car and drives a thousand miles away because and get this she cant face Branch or his parents over what happened with Brooks SO SHE LEAVES BROOKS WITHOUT SO MUCH AS A WORD KNOWING HE IS GOING TO AFGHANISTAN AND TELLS NO ONE WHERE SHE IS GOING Katy makes bad decision after bad and you finally understand why the title is Love s Suicide because really Katy does EVERYTHING she can to kill it. Love's suicider I m not giving anything away by saying that Katy is pregnant with Brooks child it tells you this on the blurb but still she doesn t tell him or contact him at all Instead she marries Bobby some local guy where she has landed because he seems kind and offers her his medical insurance. Love's suicidemouse It is at this point in the story that you know Katy is determined to head in completely the SPOILERS SPOILERS AHEAD Okay I can kid of get why she married Bobby but after the baby is born and he turns on her showing her what a bastard he is and she leaves him what I don t get is why does she take him back OK he was injured but that wasn t her problem was it The guy was a brute and a jerk and she should have just left well enough alone but no this is Katy we are talking about so she takes him back At this point she decides to contact Brooks and tell him she still loves him hiding his return letters from Bobby I mean if she wants Brooks at last why take Bobby back into her house MAKES. Love's suicider synonyme And then Katy does the most stupid thing yet Brook s letters stop suddenly so she phones her best friend back home to see if she knows anything this best friend btw is now in a relationship with the jilted Branch When her friend answers and realising it is Katy after all this time she says are you calling about Brooks How did you know But instead of doing what you or I or anyone with brain cells than a damn leaf would do and asking WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO HIM Katy for some reason known only to the stupid just throws and smashes the phone and ASSUMES HE IS DEAD WHAT WHY WHY WHY Well you see by this point I realised that Katy s brain is well Anyway she then decides that she might as well make do with brutal Bobby and tells him everything about the letters and says that now that the love of her life is dead she will stay his wife and have his children. Love's suicidemouse avi Except Brooks isn t Dead that is Of course he bloody isn t he was just badly injured And when Katy realities this as the letters appear again she pulls the rug from under Bobby and unsurprisingly he beats up on her I say unsurprising cos he had already hit her before not cos its deserved or anything Although at this point I wanted to bloody well beat Katy up myself Anyway Brooks plays hero and protects Katy and their Daughter whom he adores but the stupid doesn t stop with Katy When Bobby comes looking for her she gets in his car like a fucking dumbass even though he is drunk and then proceeds to him across the head with a bottle of vodka WHILST HE IS DRIVING and DUH the car crashes What s thatForrest Yep I guess so At this point I wanted Katy to die in that crash and leave Brooks the hell alone better off without her and bring up their daughter with the help of his family. Love's suicidemouse.avi It s not easy for me to say this but I really feel like this is her best work to date Please forgive me COLT MITCHELL I don t say that lightly because her other books are still on my top reads list There was just something about this book that touched me so deeply I felt every emotion she created I loved grieved laughed mourned celebrated hands down FELT with each character to a point that it wasn t healthy LOL Even the ones the characters that are so clearly created to NOT love you find a way to even if it s just a little tiny smidgen. Love's suicider These weren t just characters for me and it s been a long time since I was able to feel so deeply for a cast that they became REAL They are all so well developed that you get the feeling that you re living this life right along side of them It becomes something past fiction Something bigger than just words on a page and with all honesty it becomes something that you just know could really happen to someone That feeling of reality is what pushes this past a 5 star book and on my list of 6 star reads.
