1 This was short and fun I loved both Elizabeth Ainsworth and Ian Reed I thought they suited each other well I just wish we could have spent time with them There is an interesting twist in this read that added an extra element of suspense and excitement but due to the length we split time with both the couple falling in love and the murders taking place by The Ripper. Scandals watergate Believe it s not enough time and so the murderer is still at large by the end of the book that no doubt will have to run it s course through out the series I got the book for free and see that it is still available as such It s great for a partial day of reading but unfortunately I tire from incomplete books that chain link themselves together in order to complete the puzzle Especially when each book is between 60 160 pages I deducted the a star and would have taken had it not been for the couple in this book It has such great possibilities had it been a complete story I also would have liked to see the couple already married but maybe since there is still in the series you will see the couple in later books No complete love scenes in this one Enjoy Scandalous Wager Whitechapel Wagers.

Scandalous Wager (Whitechapel Wagers, #1)Short and sweet Read this one during my commute and lunch today Would ve loved if it were a full length novel but it s aiiiiiiii Scandalous Wager Whitechapel Wagers 1 This book was a tease Argh The two main characters are kissing and about to get it on when they get interrupted not once but thrice Then her family approves of them getting married and that s it There s also mention a serial killer on the loose Jack the Ripper I believe but there s no full investigation of it since this novella was only 90 pages What s the point of even writing this Scandalous Wager Whitechapel Wagers 1 3. Scandals watergate While Scandalous Wager was nothing groundbreaking or extraordinary it was quite the enjoyable read The plot was fairly straightforward the heroine seeks out the hero to help her engage in carnal relations as she has no plans to marry but still longs to know passion Of course unbeknownst to her the hero is already in love with her and has only marriage on his mind along with a whole lot of pent of lust and when she shows up on his doorstep demanding he divest her of her virginity be still my heart It all sounds rather average HR I know yet I could not stop myself from smiling as I read on through til the very last page and that s always a good feelingLizzy and Ian were just darling and in possession of an instantaneous and rather potent chemistry that had me both fanning myself and hoping against hope that they d somehow find their way to a much deserved happy ending The fact that the novella is set in Whitechapel during the infamous Ripper murders with our hero as an inspector on the case added a spark of intrigue that gave the or less simple story a much needed edge. Scandalous washington My only complaint was that I wish it had been longer if only to get to the much anticipated wedding night because clearly I have priorities ha But ultimately I came away wanting to read from the author and in the end that s all that really matters right Scandalous Wager Whitechapel Wagers 1 Short and sweet She introduces the Ripper here and the turmoil the police find themselves in Lizzie and Ian are a great couple Recommended Scandalous Wager Whitechapel Wagers 1 K so i really liked this the writing plot chemistry etc But I gotta agree with Missy here It was a big tease which sucked and the Jack the ripper thing was unnecessary Lol three times caught w out even getting any D Smh Scandalous Wager Whitechapel Wagers 1 This very short novella was interesting but lacking in any character development Also the conflicts in the story were extremely easily resolved without any real action I understand that it was just a novella but something of significance needs to happen I read it and it kept my interest but this is why I don t really like novellas Scandalous Wager Whitechapel Wagers oppression of women and the inherent danger of living in East End London in the late 19th Century you focus on the passion igniting between Lizzy and Ian The love scenes are sensuous and leave you wanting .
